The city has flourished since 1609, and built its reputation as the center of the copper industry in Japan during those 400 years. Its market share grew up to the top, with as much as 90% of the total domestic copper production.能作（のうさく）は大正5年(1916)、富山県高岡の地で創業し、仏具や茶道具、花器などの鋳物（いもの）の製造を開始しました。今では、素材自身の美しさや特性を生かしたインテリア用品やテーブルウェア、医療部品等を通じて、高岡銅器の魅力を伝え続けています。職人から職人へと受け継がれてきた高度な技術や知恵を次の世代へと継承するべく、素材・技術研究や製品開発に取り組んでいるほか、伝統技術や文化、職人の精神を広く知っていただく産業観光事業に取り組んでいます。は、工場見学や製作体験などを通じて、能作や高岡銅器について五感で感じていただけます。金属材料を熱して液状にした後、型に流し込み、冷やして目的の形状にする製造方法を鋳造（ちゅうぞう）といいます。溶けた金属を流し込む型を鋳型（いがた）、その型から取り出してできた金属製品は鋳物（いもの）と呼ばれています。能作の製品はすべて、一つひとつ職人の手で作られています。きた職人の技術をもって、世界初となる錫100%製のテーブルウェアを開発しました。能作は、鋳物の可能性を広げるべく、伝統を受け継ぎながらも分野を超えたものづくりに挑戦します。2017年に新設した工場兼社屋で“Nou”- SkillIn 1916, Nousaku began manufacturing Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea-ceremony utensils and flower vases made of brass and bronze in Takaoka, Toyama prefecture, Japan. In addition to such traditional objects, we started developing interior objects, tableware, artwork, and medical instruments in the late 1990s to convey the enchantment of castings. Wind chimes beautifully finished by hand and tableware made of 100% pure tin are achieved by our advanced casting techniques, expert knowledge, tradition, and spirit passed down through generations over a long period of time. We pursue the perfect harmony of inherited tradition and modern design.2003年、創業から受け継がれて“Saku”- CreatingCasting is a manufacturing process in which a liquid metal is poured into a mold.Every Nousaku product starts with making a sand mold and undergoes several finishing processes. By making use of cultivated techniques and experiences, in 2003, Nousaku developed the world’s first 100% pure tin tableware by taking advantage of its special properties of malleability. As well as respecting and preserving the traditional techniques and history, Nousaku seeks to create products beyond predefined fields to extend the possibility.富山県高岡市は慶長14年（1609）、加賀藩主の前田利長が“高岡”の町を開いたことを機に、“商工業の町”として発展を遂げることになりました。開町から2年後の慶長16年、前田利長は現在の金屋町に7人の鋳物師（いもじ）を招き鋳物工場を開設しました。これが、今では国の伝統的工芸品に指定されている「高岡銅器」の長い歴史の始まりです。鋳物工場の開設以来400年以上経った現在も、高岡は日本の銅合金鋳物の産地としてトップシェアを誇り、仏具、茶道具からブロンズ□、巨大な釣鐘まで、幅広い製品を製造しています。はじめに
